About me
My name is Janis McArthur and I have 2 Jack Russells. All my life i have been an animal lover and had many pets over the years. I started out working for the PDSA as a veterinary care assistant for 2.5yrs then moved onto Vetsnow to further my eduction in animal care, after 2yrs with vetsnow i decided i wanted to help animals more by becoming a veterinary nurse but then stumbled across my phobia of needles and A LOT of blood, you would think working in emergency and critical care i would have seen blood, yes i had but always dealt with it because it was an emergency but working in general practice things weren't so fast paced and i found myself struggling to hold needles and nearly fainting with lots of blood so that idea of becoming a veterinary nurse soon faded and i decided i would start up my pet ambulance and sitting service to care and help animals in other ways.

My aim is to provide a professional service to pet owners and veterinary clinics in and around Glasgow.

Dr Doolittle Pet Care is not a
franchise, i have started this business up from scratch myself so it
will only be myself that will be caring for your pet, no one else unless
notified (illness / holidays). So rest assured your pet and home is in
good, safe and professional hands.
